Gib made his first box at age 14 in shop class for a girlfriend. Lisa did her first layout work with rub-on letters and graphic tape in a college journalism class.

Neither one of us ever imagined we’d find each other, merge our talents, and live the dream of owning a small Mom-and-Pop business together in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

It took a while. We both enjoyed careers in other professions, but slowly, over the course of the past 20+ years, our little “hobby” grew into a full-time adventure creating custom wood wares with words!
