Like peanut butter and jelly, some pairs were just meant to be. Woodworking and word-working. Us.

Gib made his first box at age 14 in shop class for a girlfriend. Lisa did her first layout work with rub-on letters and graphic tape in a college journalism class.

Neither one of us ever imagined we’d find each other, merge our talents, and live the dream of owning a small Mom-and-Pop business together in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

It took a while. We both enjoyed careers in other professions, but slowly, over the course of the past 20+ years, our little “hobby” grew into a full-time adventure creating custom wood wares with words! Now, we have four wonderful friends working with us, too.

We're blessed to live and work in Paradise, where the front porch is our board room, the lake is our inspiration, and we get to work with people from all over the world!
